ISC AI Working Committee Organized FlagOS Open-Source Intelligent Computing Ecosystem Salon

Recently, the 2026 Annual Plenary Meeting of the Artificial Intelligence Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC) and the FlagOS Open-Source Intelligent Computing Ecosystem Salon were successfully convened in Beijing.
The event was guided by the ISC, hosted by the Artificial Intelligence Committee of ISC, organized by the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI), and co-organized by the AI Security Governance Special Committee of the Cyberspace Security Association of China, and the Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance of China (AIIA).
In the opening address, Shao Guanglu, Executive Deputy Director of the Expert Advisory Committee of ISC, fully affirmed the ISC AI Working Committee's work achievements in 2025. He pointed out that the Committee had played an important leading role in fields including the embodied intelligence data ecosystem and AI-enabled new-type industrialization.
Huang Tiejun, Chairman of the ISC AI Working Committee and Chairman of the BAAI, delivered a keynote report. He compared the architectures and frameworks of general computing and intelligent computing. Based on the development history of China's artificial intelligence industry, he analyzed the evolution of the basic software and hardware support system, as well as the development and ecosystem construction of FlagOS. He also elaborated on a series of key development trends: the transformation of scientific research driven by artificial intelligence, scientific intelligent computing emerging as an important direction, intelligent computing becoming a basic discipline, and intelligent computing replacing traditional computing etc.
