On December 25, 2025, the general election meeting of the Network and Information Security Working Committee of the Internet Society of China (ISC) and the first plenary meeting of the 6th session of Committee were held in Beijing.

The meeting reviewed and adopted the work report of the 5th session of Working Committee, discussed the work plan of the 6th session of Committee, reviewed and adopted the revised Working Rules of the Working Committee, and elected the leading bodies of the new session of Working Committee.

The new Working Committee will focus on four key areas:

--Give full play to the role of the Working Committee as a bridge to promote industry exchanges and development;

--Strengthen the publicity and implementation of network security policies and training activities to enhance the compliance awareness and security protection capabilities of industry stakeholders;

--Focus on key issues and challenges in the field of network and information security, integrate industry resources for collaborative problem-solving;

--Coordinate consensus and efforts across all parties to empower the high-quality development of the digital economy.
