The 3rd Plenary Meeting of the 5th Session of Council of the Internet Society of China (ISC) was held via onsite and online in Beijing on Dec 17. Over 200 Council members representatives attended the meeting, which chaired by Mr. SHANG Bing, President of ISC.

The council meeting reviewed and approved the work report and financial report of ISC, and passed the "Proposal on Supplementing and Changing ISC Council Members", "Proposal on Changing ISC Legal Representative" and "Proposal on Adding Members into the ISC Advisory Committee". 

Mr. YU Xiaowei, the President of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and also the Vice President of ISC, was elected by the Council to serve as the new Secretary General of ISC.
